So...Jello..you can send me your other SVS. I will gladly take it off your hands.
As far as I know he plans on selling it so you may want to drop him a message if you're interested in it.

I wouldn't be able to give him enough, for what it is worth. 🙁

Here's the 20-39 PC+ in it's current habitat

EDIT: the description at the top of the page is wrong, it's really the 20-39

Oh, I didn't know that was the actual sub when you showed it to me. I thought it was just a picture for scale. It's got a nice home now.

We'll fix that.

The current owner is replacing it with a PB12 Ultra / 2 in maple.

( also the current owner is female :Q )
No, I don't have any pics of that.

hmmm....

Well the short version is that this lives up to all the amazing professional and user reviews I have read. Much more output headroom than the already capable PB10 I still have. If you're thinking about getting one, do it.

I have one of those subs, they are amazing! I have it in a system comprised of an Arcam AVR300 and Kef reference speakers and it blends in great, its amazing value for money.

I know its a sucky movie, but you have to watch The Haunting DTS DVD (not the DD one) - i think it has the best bass in any movie! Its not just boomy bass either, its really controlled - a lot of the times you just feel the bass in your chest and the sofa moving rather than a lot of noise.

Its certainly made me go back and watch DVDs to see how the sound has changed.

meh...I'd rather have an acoustimass system...takes up way less space and who really cares about all those extra frequencies anyways? 😉

J/k, nice setup. I don't think my wife will let me spend $800 on a whole system... 🙁

Agreed, it lives up to all the reviews and "ungodly" comments people make, this thing is just awesome. Like anything else there is no end to what you can get so I can't say it's the "end all be all" subwoofer, but for a person like me it's pretty darn close if it isn't already 😉

Hasn't been much more than 24 hours that I've had it and it has TONS of bass even at half way without a doubt. Just to give an idea, I'm powering a room about 14 ft by 34 feet with an 8.5 foot ceiling so it's pretty long and I only have it up about half way and I'm considering turning it down just a tad bit. I'll post pictures sometime soon in another thread of my setup, I'm loving it though 🙂

I'd tell ladybuggy to add it to our netflix cue, but she's still playing Civ4 😉

Hmmm... netflix lists their "The Haunting" as only having a DD track and not DTS, but we're going to try it anyway.

The DTS one is out of print and quite hard to find (same with Jurrasic Park DTS), if you want to borrow my copy send me a PM and i'll mail it to you. Its WAY better than the DD version.

YoYoYo...download "killa cam" and play it through your system and let me know how hard the bass knocks please 😀

Well... I guess that would be dependent on how much I turned up the gain on the sub. I have it between 1/2 and 2/3, so I'm sure I could make everything in the room rattle if I turned it up more.

So, in conclusion... 42?

YGPM

Put that in 12hz tune and play reference level Lighting Strikes from War of the Worlds. Your house might flip over from the huge bass spike centered at 5hz.

My ACI Titan II LE couldnt reach down low enough, maybe its time for a Maestro 😀

Congrats Jello 😀! I bought my PCPlus 20-39 over the summer and couldn't be happier. I have almost been evicted from my apartment twice though 😱. As you are most like well aware, you're in for some delicious, warm, powerful yet not boomy bass.
