Parts Questions Pt. 1

Hello all -

I'm just about ready to order some parts. I'd like some input on some of the more basic pieces before I get into the more detailed ones. These would be case, PSU, and a dvd drive.

For cases, I really can't justify spending a lot on one. There are four up for review. I know a couple of them are kind of "ricey" which some may not like but if you could keep your thoughts geared toward the function of the case and not the look that would be great. I'm looking at these:
Raidmax
Antec
Rosewill
CoolerMaster

For a power supply, I've got it pretty much down to either Antec 1 or Antec 2 the only difference is one comes with the 24 pin cable, while the other is a 20 pin.

Third, I'm debating what to do about drives. I currently have a cdrom drive and a cd burner drive. I was thinking I'd take the cdrom drive from this comp. and the floppy and reuse them, and leave the cd burner behind so that way this comp still has a drive. Then, I want to buy This Sony DVD. It's not a DVD Burner becuase I really don't think I'll use it.

I might post another thread (or continue this one??) about the rest of the parts (HD, Ram, motherboard, etc.)

All opinions / comments are welcomed!! Thanks

No, you only need the OS installed on 1 drive. I'd go with either the Antec Solution or the Cooler Master Cavalier. The other ones seem really cheap and crappy. Since both Antec PSU's are the same price, I'd go with the 24-pin once in case you want to get a 24-pin mobo.

why not pull the cd-writer from the other? that wayu u can have dvd-rom and cd-writer... of course depends on which is ur primary computer, and which one u actually gonna burn cds on.
