Can the MSI 660ti PE be a better option for my rig coz its a bit cheap and is reviewed to be better than a 7950 O.C.!!!?
Will the seasonice S12-II suffice for the overall needs of the rig with a 660ti?
stock 660ti to stock 7950 are still about dead even at 1920. once you oc both then the 7950 easily pulls away overall though. plus the 7950 comes with a good game bundle that you can sale for 30-35 bucks if you dont want.

Exactly. Plus the 7950 pulls away with higher AA levels and resolutions because of it's better memory bus.

Thanks guyz but if I do get a chance to spend more so can I go for 670 over 7970 coz these CUDA,MSAA,TXAA adaptive V-sync technologies do fancy me and I have never seen the merits and de-merits of those stuff's so I am leaning more on the NVIDIA side!!!!

MSAA has nothing to do with Nvidia and in fact the 670 will struggle more with it on than the 7950 or 7970. and TXAA is a joke unless you like your games with a layer of vaseline smeared on them. Radeon Pro is what you should use for AMD cards instead of the CCC and it offers an adaptive vsync option. so really only CUDU is the nvidia exclusive and what do you feel that you need that for?

CUDA doesn't matter unless you know you have a program that can use it. Since you don't, it's safe to say CUDA is useless to you.

Plus, those kinds of AA, are costly, blurry, and generally awful (or not exclusive). There are much better forms of AA out there.

To be honest I don't know what CUDA is used for so u are right, I don't need that CUDA and all that stuff! So aren't those TXAA and MSAA really important?
Regarding Drivers, whose are much more stable as you all might have experienced coz I have only AMD experience!! And one thing I like about AMD drivers is that they smaller in size, so easy to download in less time!;p

I just told you that MSAA has nothing to do with Nvidia. and I also just told you that TXAA is crap and blurs the heck out of your game.

and driver size? really? so unless you are on dial up the 15-30 seconds you save a few times a year is meaningless.

Well then I am left with 7950 boost coz it is really the bang for the buck, one more thing: I don't want to have some crazy quad crossfire or quad SLI so should I go for a 970 chipset board ? What else other than the above, will I loose over 990fx?? How should I update the BIOS if it isn't supporting 8350 out of the BOX??

Not really anything else due to the chipset. The other differences come down to the specific motherboards you are comparing.

How should I update the BIOS if it isn't supporting 8350 out of the BOX??

Only buy motherboards that support the FX-8350.
