ok i finally sent off rma of cpu ram mobo psu and got all new parts from newegg 
now installing xp fat32 wont allow partitions over 32gb, microsoft says go with ntfs unless ur gonna use older os (which im not) and that if u have older progs/software that wont run with it(<--???) so what exactly is a partition i would like to just have maybe 8 gb and 32 gb or 10 and 30 (i have 40gb hdd) would the other partition be listed as like D: and the first as C:? (never had a drive bigger then 20 gigs ;-) so is it better to go ntfs or fat32
