Partitioning with FDISK

fdisk
insert the floppy disc/startup disc
type fdisk
hit enter
choose yes to enable lba support at first screen
at the second screen choose create primary partition for the os (no other partitions are necessary unless
you need more options and to keep this short and easy i will give the necessary info only again i can provide more if necessary)

once that partition is created make sure it is active (denoted by a a in the status line)
escape out of fdisk
reboot
type format c: /s to copy system files and format the disk answer yes when it says all info will be lost
after this step is done i recommend that you do this
type fdisk/mbr
hit enter
type fdisk/mbr
hit enter
type fdisk/mbr
hit enter
then load the os of your choice by putting the os in drive? and type setup? where?=drive letter of said drive
hope this helps
