I already have windows 7 home ed. on my laptop for school but I would like to resize this and partition the drive maybe in half and put linux on the other partition. Is this possible without actually reinstalling windows, I'm sure it is but how safe is it? I'm just worried because laptops don't come with a full OS disk so I don't want to mess that partition up or i'd be screwed. Any suggestions?
