Im trying to partition my HD so i can have a dual boot system (WindowsXp/Linux(suse)) useing PartitionMagic and Im not shure how i sould create the partitions, i know when i make the Linux root partition it should be primary but im not shure about the Swap and Boot parititions, should thay be logical? or am i doing this totaly the wrong way? and if anyone knows a better way to do this please let me know.
Thanks.

When you install suse it should set up the partition in which it is installed automatically to include partitioning the area needed for swap and boot.

Ok so when i install suse it should partition everything for me i just partition the amount i want for linux and it will partition the boot and swap within the partition i made for it?.....if so how do i install linux to that partition and keep it from eating my windows xp again?
even tho that was with red hat 7.2 which i plan to eat myself yummy. =0D oE

Yes. it didn't interfere w/ my xp partition either - pretty automatic setup. Just be sure to install XP first, then suse otherwise XP will destroy grub.
