I partitioned my drive into 3. One boot (primary), one application drive (extended), and another drive for storage ( primary). My question is that when I did this I didnt realize that I had made two Primary partitions on the same physical disk, rather than one extended and two logical drives in the extended partition; is this okay? WIndows 2k seems to be working fine and just yesterday I realized what I did. What can happen if left like this? I know the old saying goes "if it aint broke dont fix it", and I sure as hell dont want to reformat. Thanks in advance.

Nothing wrong with having 2 primary partitions. The only reason for extended partitons is because of the limit imposed in original design to only allow 3 primary partitions.

My understanding is that you are only have one OS so whether or not both are active shouldn't matter
