fdisk works for me. although, it doesn't like non fat32 partitions and when I have one of those, I usually want to delete them so for that I use aefdisk.

Will partition magic allow you to resize your partitions with all your data still on the HD? I keep running out of space on my C drive.

Try Partition magic 4.0 form buy.com clearance for around $14. It doesn't specifically support w2k, but works just fine. I have it for my Linux/w98/w2k triple boot without a hitch.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish and how often will you be mucking with your partitions?

Best partition program (as per my experience installing windows 98 for my cutomer) is Disk Manager of the HDD manufacturer. If you want to re-partition/resize or merging the partition after the installation of any OS than I vote for partition magic. for small sized HDD fdisk is quite OK.
