Partition Magic 7 Question

Sorry to post in 2 groups...

I have a Win98Se partition and a Linux Partition (and Linux swap) on my hard drive. I tried to upgrade my Mandrake 8 to 8.1 but it says there is not enough room.

My question is, with Partition Magic 7, do I need to shrink my win98 partition (with about 5 GB left) or can I just grow my Linux partition by about 1 GB, and it will just take it from Win98?

P.S. I will be booting from PM7 disks as


1. I do not believe in messing with the partition while in Windows and
2. I get pmagic9x errors unless I am just in raw dos mode!

It won't let you make one bigger without shrinking the other one first.

Thanks John...will try shrinking win98 by 512mb first.
