It is in their clearance section. I know it is the old version, but it still does what I need it to do, and I believe you can upgrade to 6.0 for $29.95.

After shipping, mine was $20.xx, but I had a Digital Neighbors gift cert for $10.

What is a "Digital Neighbors gift certificate"?

And if the gift certificate was something you used on this order, was the program $11.95 before *or* after using the certificate?

It was a deal going around awhile ago. If you sign up here they will send you a $10 gift cert to buy.com.

K-squared, if you click on the link to buy.com you'll see that their current price is $11.75. Looks like a deal to me, if you need Partition Magic!

I think it's easier to use something like this instead of fips (granted fips is free, but...). If you want to install Linux but don't have a free partition, this could be what you need.

I don't know what the diff. between the versions of Partition Magic are, but Partition Magic has been at version 6.0 for a while now.

I received it in the mail last week. It works in 98 and NT (not 2000) and will manipulate Linux partitions. The upgrade to 6.0 is 29.95, so it is still cheaper to buy this and upgrade than to purchase the full version ($54) at Buy.com although not by much. If you do not use Win 2000, it is a great deal.

I just got Partition Magic 4.0.

Good deal . . . however

(maybe) Oops.

Does anyone know if you can create a partition for WIN2K within WIN98SE or must I upgrade to Version 6.0?
