Hi,

I have a 30G harddrive and I had partitioned it into three partions, one 5GB (Drive C), one 10GB, and one 15GB. I installed WinXp on the 5GB partion and now it runs out of space. I tried to use Partition Magic to increase the 5GB partion to 15GB, but the software said that I can only increase it to 8GB due to some boundary limit. If I were to increase Drive C (the 5GB partition) past 8GB, Windows may stop working! Is it true? Is there anyway I can get around this? Thank you in advance!

Thanks!
thomas

Tom, it would be so much easier if you just backed up all your important stuff and reformatted. If you boot from the windows XP disc you can partition the drives from that setup...id be easier than using partition magic anyways....

use partition magic and you might anyway. you better back regardless if your going to try and move partitions. MikeShapi is right . just spend a couple hours and you'll be much happier
good luck

p.s. i now use 10 gigs just for windows install.
