Partial Drive Raid

Is there a motherboard or RAID card that can support this configuration? The idea is that I'll run my OS and apps on a 50 GB RAID-0 partition comprising of the first 10 GB of each of 5 1 TB drives. The remaining 90 GB of each drive will be used to create a RAID-6 array where I will regularly back up the RAID-0 drive. If any single drive fails, I can replace it and rebuild the RAID-6 array and restore by RAID-0 array from the backup. In theory this should give me killer speed + reliability. Thoughts?

far as I know of, what you want to do is not possible. The raid cards i've configure, don't give you an option to do a partial raid configuration on a hdd
