Ok, so I have a bit of debt from college and I have a good job, but I'd like to get it paid off faster. I have a weekend job lined up, but I am wondering if I will hate myself after working 40-50 hours a week at my normal job only to work 16 hours on the weekend.

So I went poking around Craigslist looking for a work from home job. Like data entry or whatever. I find 2 and look semi legit and email them. They email me back all the info and conclude with the statement that I just need to send them $12 to cover training materials. Are these things complete scams? Does anyone know of a real company that uses work from home data entry people?

I'd much rather work from home an hour or 2 a night then give up my weekend.

thanks.

Unless I meet with someone face to face, and I know from first-hand experience where the physical address of the company is, I am not sending money to any company, even $12.

With respect to employment.

I had a friend from college who interned (as a coder) with one of those data processing companies. He ended up feeling pretty damn poorly about how the drones were compensated; IIRC they were paid by unit of work done, and ended up with a couple of dollars an hour.

If I could just make $100 a week that would do. I figured it the $12 thing is a scam, but I figured it was worth asking.

Also curious if there are any legitimate work from home data entry type jobs.
