Do you guys suppose they colored it normally and then applied a grayscale filter after the fact?

Seeing as how its computer rendered, I would guess they just told the computer to make it grayscale for however long it was.

No, it was an old episode from the 30's, that's why it was in black and white.

nah they probably manually colored every hand-drawn animation cell in grayscale.

June: No, Homer. Very few cartoons are broadcast live, it's a terrible strain on the animators' wrists.

haha, the funny part about that is the Simpsons are supposedly going to add another character in this season.
