This was in one of the previous threads.
The only bummer is I don't think any of this data is permissible as evidence in court as it was obtained illegally (IANAL)
I was thinking about this too. I think the FBI could at least look at the information in the data dump and then request the same data from Amazon directly, since Amazon probably has copies of everything?

Hahaha, now there's reports of helicopters (that are the same ones used to fly the President - and oh my gawd did you guys know its only Marine One if the POTUS is on board???!?!?!?!?) hovering over Pence's mansion and people saying its probably Turmp TPing.

I guess uploading personally identifying material to online forum of patriots and signing a form that identifies you and your crimes as a convenient record of your treason is something that I won't really understand the benefit of, as I am not part of this superior race with superior brains that they describe.

Do I condone the hack? No... but I can't say I feel sorry for Parler, either.
The premise of many spy movies is to obtain valuable information to thwart the bad guys is not done within the laws, but for the advantage of what is right.
How does this differ?

Is it known who was behind the hack? Seems to be an assumption that the perpetrators are diametrically-opposed to Parler's user-base, but seems to me it could be a third-party. Back in the cold-war days the Soviets would sometimes blackmail nazis in the west for their own purposes. That's how they infiltrated the West German spy services.

Edit - ah, looking at the linked thread someone mentions "left extremists". So hopefully it is a straight-forward 'hostile' hack.

I haven't followed the Parler thing - is it directly connected to Putin? If it's already linked to Russia then that makes it less likely Russians would bother hacking it, I guess.

Let's also not forget...

If you want to be "an influencer", Parler asks for your social security number. Including Donald Jr, Ted Cruz, L Lin Wood, Sydney Powell, and anyone else who might want to be one.

It's probably a goldmine for incriminating data. If the Russians want something they can hold over up-and-coming Republican lawmakers, they will be getting everything they can.

Let's not forget the attached copy of a govt. issued photo ID...

Someone made a form on Parler that asked for name and other info plus any crime they might have committed on the 6th so that Trump could pardon them. Apparently some people have filled it out.
I saw it and thought it was no more than a meme. Maybe not, heh.

There is absolutely no reason to assume that person's description is accurate. Their brains are so fucked that the slightest indignity in their lives, on a daily basis, immediately goes to "left extremist." Such claims literally mean nothing coming from these garbage people. Look at how they are still trying to claim that antifa were the ones being violent at the capital--look at them! Even fuckbastard pieces of shit in Congress are trying to claim it was antifa.

They still think antifa was causing violence at all the BLM protests over the summer, when only Trump supporting white supremacists were the ones being arrested. The actual truth doesn't matter one bit to these pieces of shit. So, no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt in, any situation.
