If it's a *UNIVERSITY* parking ticket and you don't actually go there, you really don't have much to worry about. Other than that, though...
 
Is it true for Canada vs. US ? I've heard of people getting parking tickets in Toronto and they simply head back to the US without bothering.

I know a Canadian with a parking ticket in NY State. He can no longer enter through New York.

Yeah I heard that NY and some other bordering states are sharing DMV info. So they are going to make it harder to ignore fines.
 
Just remember: When dealing with traffic laws, if you begin the statement with "someone told me"... it's probably a big fat steaming pile of bullsh!t.

If that were true, I think every resident of NYC would find a way to have their car registered out of state and just park where ever the hell they want.
 
Simple, PAY THE TICKET... Don't be a wimp... U broke the LAW and pay the friggin ticket, be a man or turn in your man card. It's your own job to deal with this, and don't whine...
