Allright, gotta go in tomorrow to take a driving test, and I have a slight problem -- I'm clueless about the rules to park on a hill (living in an aera with NO HILL does that to you). Anyone know the rules about which way the wheel is supposed to go?

You are supposed to turn the wheel in the direction opposite of the curb if your car is facing up the hill.

That way if your brakes failed, your wheels would roll into the curb.

parking down hill with curb - turn wheels towards curb (to the right).

parking up hill with curb - turn wheels away from curb (to the left)

Parking downhill with no curb - same deal as above

parking uphill with no curb - turn wheels to the curb - to the right.

always set parking brake and always set it on P or in gear. I usually put it in reverse when parking downhill and first when parking up hill.

In whatever direction would make the car hit the curb. Parked on right side going downhill turn them to the right.
