And old guys and women waste away in jail with AIDS, cancer, tuberculosis, etc. . .how come they don't get to get out early?

I'am a bit suprised. I thought the judge specifically said no home jailing.

seems like the sheriff circumvented the judge and prosecutor in releasing her... according to tmz, the judge is working on getting paris back in prison.

that sheriff is going to have a "blessing" discreetly bestowed upon his portfolio even if the brat goes back to jail. he makes out like a bandit no matter what.

i wonder if he sold out cheap or gambled and went for six figures.

Nothing to do with her. Just mercy for the inmates. They been thru enough, already.

I don't think that's funny. There's something seriously wrong here when money and privilege can flaunt their power in front of the American public like this. Cutting her term in half was bad enough, walking out three days later is unacceptable.

And here comes our good buddy Reverend Al to the scene.

The Rev. Al Sharpton denounced Paris Hilton's release from jail on Thursday, saying it had "all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism."

"I think that it's both another glaring display of how race and money seem to get different treatments. There seems to be a different criminal justice system for some than others," Sharpton said.

For once I might tend to agree with him

Hahaha...

Damn, if I were president I'd order her back to jail and add a few more months on to it no if ends or butts...

Justice for all my ass... More like Justice for how big your wallet may be...

And the justice system proves itslef as a failure.

If she were black and poor, they would extend her sentence. It's a bunch of bull****!

Baahhaaaaa, lmao, lol , omg, What a joke , Even if she is do back in court tomorrow or the next day, She is not goin back to jail, Your corrupt judicial system is at this point just tryin to save face, What a joke!!!!

Sounds like she is going back to jail.
What are the odds on that happening?

Maybe they can find her a nice ?treatment? facility if she is really suicidal.
But house arrest will turn into house party will fast.

Some people with terminal diseases go into jail purposefully. The jails have free health care. At least, this is what I read.

Would be bad if all he got was a BJ, and it would have been a sloppy one at that.

It would be very interesting to see what he was paid for this... or what favor he was promised... too bad he will be spending some time in contempt of court to enjoy it.

Just heard a radio report that Paris will not be going to the hearing but will be attending via phone.

LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton, who is serving her jail sentence from her Hollywood Hills home, has been given another break. She can call in to her Friday court hearing by phone instead of appearing in person.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress was headed for a courtroom showdown that could put her back behind bars, as prosecutors sought to hold sheriff's officials in contempt for releasing her early from jail.

Hilton was ordered to report to court at 9 a.m. The judge signed an order for deputies to bring her in a sheriff's vehicle from her Hollywood Hills home, said Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini.

You just have to love how rich celebrities can make a travesty, sham, and mockery of our legal system. It's a traveshamockery!

Do you really think that if any "normal" person in the same scenario as this ugly ho-bag would get as many breaks? This is beyond stupid. I really think that the judge should put her in general population for 6 months for making such a fuss. Let's see how fast her prissy ass gets shaped up.
