Activity wise?

School is out Friday for us. I have a 7 year old who naturally gravitates toward the TV and video games, once we kick her out she's addicted to her bike and the sprinklers and chalk though. She's a super smart reader, and I was thinking of getting her the first 10 or 20 Goosebumps books since I read them around her age. Her school also has free 'summer school' online I'll make her do for an hour a day. For physical activity (besides 6+ hours outside a day. Yes. 6+) she'll also be doing more swimming lessons.

Any of you have some input? Curious what others are doing.

My daughter (10) will be doing the summer swim season again this year which is pretty much an every day thing for six weeks. After that, just normal summer kid stuff. Playing, spending too much time at daycare, reading, etc.

Various sport camps, classes at the local community college and science center. Fill in the gaps with swim lessons and visits to grand parents. We keeps them busy.

14. Working a couple days/week with a landscaper friend. Tennis. Basketball camp. Painting my fence. XBOX, I'm sure. The wife will limit that with other jobs/activities.

They had better be earning their fair share of the roof I'm putting over their heads. I don't care if they're 9 and 12.

More than likely though they'll probably do tennis camps, swimming, maybe some climbing camps and probably a couple nerd camps. And MK8 DLC.

My son? baseball -- all summer long. Can't beat it!

My daughter? Well, sadly tutoring as she's hasn't been to school in 2+ months due to some medical issues. That and her artwork and yes... lots of screen time.

my daughter has gymnastics practice nearly every day. when she gets home its bikes and whatever else they find.

my son is in gymnastics also. but he goes 2 hours a week. He tried baseball and didn't like it. He wants to do swimming lessons.

If i let him though he would be playing video games all day.
