  • Teaching children to hate their country and each other is immoral and deeply harmful to our society and must be stopped.

Umm, are we sure a republican came up with these rules?
Or is this more of their blind ignorant hypocracy?
"If I believe it, its true. If a democrat believes it, its false, even if they have proof."

I'm guessing teaching anyone that racism for example exists that's teaching them to hate each other so out it goes.

Indeed. This is the shit you would read in a multitude of authoritarian regimes, including various communist ones.

Today's conservatives in America are basically an amalgamation of all the worst characteristics of various authoritarian style regimes from history. A horrific group of people.

I do find it fascinating that they included MLK Jr. in the list of greatest American heroes, since he was kind of, uh, a socialist.
But I don't expect whoever came up with this pledge to actually know anything about him.

If you think that's fun, you should read their privacy policy down at the bottom.
Spoiler: they authorize consent to everything from the moment you arrive at their site, or utilize anything from them.

You have to realize, THIS happened in Des Moines iOwa. Johnston is but a suburb. Frankly, the entire state has gone F-king nutz. Trump went there two months ago for his rally and the governor i.e. covid Kim plus iOwa's US senator Chuck Grassley stood up there on stage kissing Donald's butt until their lips turned blue. Well, lets just say a bluish brown.

And gov Covid Kim is suing everyone and anyone pro Biden over masks and vaccines while the states covid positivity rate has skyrocketed back into the red. And Covid Kim responds, "we can handle that".
This state "use to be" a blue state that voted for Obama, twice. However, iOwa really has nothing to offer. It is one of the highest taxed states, has some of the poorest roads, is corrupt as hell, and business as well as graduates can not be lured nor paid enough to remain in the state. Grads flee to greener pastures, and business will have nothing to do with the state, and what is left are the red neck farmers and obese citizens who always vote Trump. And thus, the demise of yet another midwestern state.

The school thing is really nothing when you consider how the state is now ran. You must be a Trump freak to even consider running for anything. The Karen's love it in iOwa, and so do the Q's, and so does Donald Trump.... naturally. Trump's source for his fat, dumb and stupid electorate.

Take a look at the latest pledge the newest school board members were forced to sign.
Candidate/Officeholder Pledge - 1776 Action

As far as I can tell there was no "force" involved. I get the impression that they signed voluntarily and probably touted that fact during their campaigns to be elected to the school board.

IMHO it is sad that so many people see the beliefs in this pledge as unassailably true and off limits to any rational discussion (whether they actually sign the pledge or not). And that there are enough of these people to elect them to their school boards.

And Putin is still reaping benefits from having Trump on a choke chain. Trump's message to his minions that being racist is A-OK and a very good reason to hate and fear the Democrats is a lynchpin that connects to every other emotionally driven divisive ploy that Trump and his party elders exploit to win elections.

The party has normalized themselves to Trump's vile and despicable personality disorders and the results of his being that way. They've accepted the fact that he is under Putin's thumb, that he is psychologically deranged, that he did a lot of damage to the nation's reputation and credibility on the world stage. They don't mind that he's a blatant racist, an adulterer, a notorious philanderer as well as most everything they were propagandized into hating about the Democrats. Yet they refuse to see how dangerous Trump is for the mere fact that he is their leader.

The Repubs have categorically dismissed those all telling and very numerous incidents that proved how dangerous Trump was and is to the security, prosperity and welfare of the nation and its peoples because all they want is to deny whatever it is the Democrats want for the working class of the nation and are more than willing to create a plutocratic religiously infected authoritarian state in order to make that happen.
