Yeah, I remembered that part too. Can't believe I forgot the raised section is a median though. I mean my work directly relates to roads; I should know this crap.

I know there's a road feature called a meridian though. Not sure what it is exactly, but it exists. :p

n. Eastern, Midwestern, & Southern U.S.
The dividing area, either paved or landscaped, between opposing lanes of traffic on some highways. Also called median, ; also called regionally boulevard, mall, Also called medial strip, meridian, Also called neutral ground. See Regional Note at neutral ground.

I've heard some really odd names given to kids this year. Is it a trend to go with something that sounds "different"? I don't get it.
