Parents name children after hitler, children taken away

Could it possibly be that the parents are idiots who named their children that way, AND that there is abuse justifying removing them?

In other news, OJ arrested for killing his wife, and OJ is black, proving that OJ was arrested for being black.
 
Yes, I'm pretty sure naming your children that way is a form of child abuse and should be addressed accordingly.
 
More than likely the parents are white supremacists. Who would give their kids names that paint a target on their backs unless they considered it a badge of honor?
 
However, the appeals court ruled last year that sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect existed because of domestic violence in the home, and removed the children from their Philipsburg, N.J.home.

So my children would be taken away if I named my son Douche Nozzle and my daughter Slutty Whore? The outrage!!!!
 
wow, their are truly some very special people out there. It seems obvious to me that these parents are unable to see the outcome of these names as the children grow older

At the time both parents acknowledge the hate behind their children's names. But say that was not their intention.


Seriously?, WTF name them that then as that is the only way those names will ever be remembered...

Good job taking the kids away I say!

If you come to the attentions of the authorities by subjecting the children to physical abuse; sure.

Keep a low profile and the only ones that get hurt/ridiculed is your kids.
 
I would think in order to enforce this there has to be a banned name list such as...

Theodore Bundy
Johnathan Gacy
Elizabeth Borden
James Jones

A banned named list? Now that is just plain silly. Think of how many people there are with those names on that list of yours that have no relation to the criminals. Do they need to change their names once this list is instituted? Who creates and enforces this list of "nome de guerres"?

Oh, and how could you not include Joel Rifkin on that list? Do you not watch Seinfeld? 😛

Who, me? No, I had not heard of that story. Anyway, a private company having a list of banned words that they will not decorate a cake with does not equal a government formed and enforced list of names that you cannot name your children, which is what Homer was alluding to.

As stupid as these people are for choosing these names, I just don't think it is viable in any way for the government to create a list of names that you can, or cannot name your kids.

(if they didn't want such intense scrutiny, they shouldn't have pissed off Shop-Rite and Walmart and other local authorities by drawing so much attention; they should have bought a generic cake and then added their son's name themselves after the fact; sounds like they went out of their way to pick a fight with that birthday cake a few years ago and now the roosters are coming home to roost)

I'm not suggesting such a list be enacted, just saying it would have to exist for taking the kids to stick. If they did take the kids for the name what's the threshold for killer names. Unless the history is known my names sound innocent enough.

No laws against stupid parents.

they did it to draw attention to themselves. How many parents put their kids full name on a birthday cake? When I bought a cake like that, it was just the first name. They knew what kind of reaction it would have caused. If they didn't, then they are beyond stupid.
 
You know....naming your kids Aryan Nation and Adolf Hitler probably IS a form of child abuse. It may not be physical abuse, but it certainly does inflict emotional abuse.

But yes, the fact that the kids are taken away may be due in fact to physical abuse in the home. The fact that they have these names may be pure coincidence. I just don't know enough about this case to make a determination. All I can say is this: I hope that the apples fall far from the trees.

It's more like child endangerment, where the danger is physical. It's painting a target on their backs. Like hiring a known sex offender as their nanny.
 
can't they state that it's against their religious freedoms? that always gets people to back down...... oh wait, only if you're muslim
 
So are these people jackasses and morons? Yes. Was there likely abuse involved? Yes. Would there kids have been taken away if their names were not what they are?? I suspect the answer is "no", and that's a problem. The fact that they named their kids something not politically correct should not play any factor at all in whether the kids are removed from the parents house at all.
