so, my parents are thinking of getting a new car.............

i had been complaining about them wanting to get a ford focus 2004 instead of a nissan sentra and they were looking around. they say with gas prices high, they are going to trade in the familys ford excursion for a ford focus 2004. i dont like the idea but i also dont have a job. well, they came home and my mom just came upstairs and said that they decided not to get the focus, they said that they could get the kia rio at the same dealership for 3 grand cheaper. i was in shock. i hate the way the focus looks but god, a kia? i went downstairs and saw the excursion still parked in the garage and i said, whats the deal? they then laughed in my face and they said, makes you appreciate the idea of a ford focus eh?

I'm not bitter, in fact my parents "hooked me up" with a 2000 Passat. I'm thankful that they asked for my input and that they got me the car. I'm probably not even going to keep it for college.
