My son is just over 2 years old.

Well last night, he wanted to go the bathroom b/f he went to bed. He successfully went on the toilet (not his trainer) facing backwards, straddling the bowl. This morning, we went again, and was also successful. The milestone is this was the first night he went to sleep and woke up with a dry diaper. :)

I think I'd have invested in a jr sized butt plug (or perhaps a nice cork) + a clothespin.

WooT! First off, he is adorable. Second, congratulations, boys can be tough to potty train but it looks like you've got a smart cookie there. :)

Yep, and double that with twins. My daughter trained in two days, my son is another story. He thinks the toilet is a monster.

confirmed.

our little girl is 3 wks old and we change her diaper just about every 4 hours, right before or after we feed her. and that doesn't even include the times she goes right after or during the change.

EDIT: congrats yamahaxs and son!

We're doing the potty training of my daughter right now but haven't had a dry overnight diaper yet.

Congrats!

My daughter is 22 months and has just started asking to go potty. Not consistently or anything, but yeah is does make you proud. :)

Parents are silly.

We "reward" her by letting her wear 'big girl' underwear for an hour or so after she goes on the potty.

When potty training our son, we kept a little bowl of cheery-ohs in the bathroom. When we wanted him to pee, we'd just drop a few cheery-ohs into the toilet bowl and tell him to try and hit 'em :D We also kept a bowl of m&ms in there as a reward.

You better be glad your mom didn't feel that way.
