the show is comedy, I believe MTV coaches the people about going at it for ratings. Some of the boyfriends say some priceless things

"see she's SMILING? when's the last time you made her smile?" - Dad to jerk ass boyfriend
"I make her smile all the time, I just can't see her face while I'm doing it" - jerk ass boyfriend
