I rooted my ATT samsung galaxy s2 and I am scare of trojans and malware entering my phone.

D: I heard horror stories on what those can do and I was wondering if there is a way to wipe them out.
 
do you install random apps on your phone? if not, yes, you're being paranoid. keep in mind that you don't even need to be rooted to get infected.

just use common sense and you'll be fine.

Well I download apps on the Android market that only have 3.8+ ratings


also some files from XDA developers.
