I don't see Doom (2016) in your library. One of the best single player FPS campaigns in years. Plays Refreshingly differently than many other shooters.

Not really into the supernatural/horror stuff, unless it's zombies, but even then it really depends. I prefer more realistic fps games

So you want to buy a realistic shooter despite not enjoying the top three most recent realistic shooters? You already know exactly what Wildlands will play like. It sounds like you should try something new if you arent enjoying battlefield, far cry and titanfall.

That's funny because I haven't really been playing much.
Perhaps you just aren't as into gaming as you were before? I was a hardcore gamer in my teens and young twenties, but since then I really only play a handful of games, and even then it's only a handful of times per month. I'm just not into gaming like I was before, and that's fine because I've got plenty of stuff to still take up my time.

maybe, but i don't have much to take up my time, especially at night or when the weather is bad. and that's when I really want to play something.

Try Doom. With the 2hr refund policy I don't know what you have to lose... sounds like you just want to keep whining based on your replies honestly.

I agree, especially since doom is probably one of the best shooters released in years.

I also have to concur with the Dying Light recommendations. That game is so much fun and I really enjoyed the story too. I thought it was probably the second best game of a legendary 2015 which also included classics like Bloodborne (my #1 but it's only on PS4), The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Fallout 4, GTA V on PC, and Batman Arkham Knight. It's like playing through a B-movie, film grain plus crazy violent story and all. It's not really a first person shooter, it's more a cross between slasher and platformer in the first person (guns aren't that useful since the sound draws really aggressive zombies). It's such satisfying violence once you level up a bit and start getting swords and sickles where you're able to decapitate zombies if you aim for the right areas. It has so many great sidequests too, and some of the fights can be pretty intense. The city of Harran is a lot of fun to explore. The Enhanced Edition is a must though, because the storyline is completed in the DLC.

Another plus is the game is pretty well optimized on PC. If you have hardware that was decent in 2014 it'll run the game well.

I recently finished Rise of the Tomb Raider and thought it was really great. Really enjoyed that one.

When I get like this I tend to boot up just the dumb fun games, where I'm blowing something up or shooting mindlessly, the new Doom is great for that, fast paced, big guns, super satisfying, it's not that hard and it's basically just big dumb fun.

There is a medal of Honor game from 2010 which I really enjoyed the single player campaign. You play as different squads during the operations in Afghanistan. I don't recall the correct version of this game but the main character's callsign was rabbit. I thought it was a decent campaign.
