Parallels desktop for Mac 3.0 released

The new release of Parallels desktop looks to have some nice new features including 3D graphics and Parallels explorer which allows you to browse the files on your Windows VM without having to boot it up.

I JUST got a copy of Parallels last month.... I'm contacting them to see if I can get a free upgrade.

Hopefully they are accommodating. I'd think they wouldn't want to sway any customers especially with the new VMWare product coming down the pipe.

I believe they said that if you purchased after May 1 you would get a free upgrade.

edit: I just bought your product. You're telling me that I need to pay AGAIN to get the new version?

If you bought Parallels Desktop for Mac in any form (ie, electronic, or retail box) after May 1st, 2007, you'll be automatically upgraded to 3.0 for free. Contact our support or sales line with your registration code and receipt, and we'll get you hooked up.
