Parakeet question

my mom has 3 parakeets, when ever i run the sink water these things start chriping and flying around like crazy! anyone know why they do/act this way?

LOL, mine does the same thing! It's so funny and cute. :)

No explanation from me, I just know they just love the sound of running water...

Which is weird to hear my bird start chirping when I take a leak (the back of his cage is to the other side of the wall of the bathroom). :p

It sounds annoying, but I think they all just naturally tend to want to join in on the musicmaking...

As the owner of three large parrots I know that birds really like loud noises to fit in with the flock(you) The more noise you make the noisier they get. I have an Amazon,an African Grey,and a macaw.They love the vacuum cleaner running in their room.They get up close to it and scream their heads off.That is the reason your birdies are chirpy,they just want to fit in.
