Papst fans for sale in US -- found!

So I want a very quiet case. The Papst fans seems to be the quietest around with the highest CFM. The 80mm 8412NGML has a ratio of CFM/dBA of 1.39 -- 27CFM @ 19 dBA. The 80mm 8412NGL has a ratio of CFM/dBA of 1.61 -- 19CFM @ 12 dBA. The problem is, where do you buy them in the US. I looked high and low on the Internet and could not find a place that had them in stock. I called up EBM (the US distributer of Papst fans) and found out that they sell to individuals! The price for both types of fans mentioned above is $18.10 plus shipping via UPS. They are out of the 8412NGL and restocking takes 18 weeks! They only have 4 left of the 8412 NGML and I bought 3 of them.

4 and half months to restock...are you kidding me? wow...nice job tho i was thinkin of giving them a ring about where to buy. I ordered there catalog months ago never got that.

i found a papst fan on eshmay that i have.. 120mm it pushes a ton of air but is pretty loud... its at 5v now and it's really quiet but still puts out a lot of air

Uh... you realize Newark Electronics(www.newark.com) sells Pabst fans? Not terribly cheap, but they've got them.

I've already looked over www.newark.com i have them linked on my page but they only seem to carry just a few Papst fans. The ones that they carry aren't the quiet ones either.

Yes, I found Newark in my search as well. But like GiZzO said, they are not the quiet ones.
