Keep in mind, even though SR has split decoders, they issue on every other cycle. So it's not as big an improvement as some would lead you to believe..

One thing is to issue a instruction, another thing is to keep the units feed. And given Bulldozer long pipeline and poor cache performance, I'd say that the latter part will be a problem.
