There is a Blaze Pizza 1/4 mile down the road from where I work. Part of the reason the crust is thin is that it allows the pizza to cook much quicker. It's a fast food pizza place after all. When I go there I do a "build your own" and put more toppings on it compared to what is on their regular menu. Makes it worth the $7.

threres more food by volume in a NYC style pizza slice than a whole personal pizza there. It didnt taste bad though. If they offerned a thicker version I would go again but no.

Shorty is currently at Mick & Angelos of Niagara Falls.

He will let you know how highly rated thin pizza fares.

Also, I hate all of you bastards.

Still looks better than Two Boots. That pizza can literally be seen through.

Blaze pizza is a restaurant as much as McDonald's is a restaurant.

I like thin (and thick) crust pizza, and I hated Blaze the one time I tried it. It has nothing to do with the thickness, it's just crap food.

If you think 180 seconds is a short time, try going to a place with a legit wood-fired oven. Takes 90 seconds and the pizza even gets scorched in places sometimes. For me, pizza should be slightly chewy around the outside and range from firm to floppy as you go further in.

I fucking love thin crust, but with thin crust it better be thin and crispy - not thin and floppy.

Also OP - I would highly suggest giving Domino's another try. They really did a 180 from their plain boring pizza a while ago. At least, that's just my opinion. Also, that was a while ago. I don't eat pizza very often, shit makes me fat way too easily.

Listen to this man.
I live in one of the high holy areas of pizza (Chicago area), we have amazing pies all over the place. But Dominos is in my rotation. They deliver, the pizza is not bad (the seasoning and sauce they use has good garlicky flavor). Its cheap. Their Chicken is not great, but not terrible.

Jets is good IMO. I love pizza huts crust, but the rest is meh. Dominos is one of the worst IMO, the sauce is spicy and the crest is nothing special. I still love papa johns because I can drown the bad in garlic sauce. There is a chain around here called marcos that is probably second only to jets for delivery.

I'm a big fan of Neapolitan pizza (pizza napoletana) and the crust is indeed paper-thin. When I eat it the center of the pizza is often soaked through, so I have to get to it quickly.

I feel bad for you suckers that have to eat chain pizza or what these wannabe pizza joints call pizza. I live in New York and while everything else about this state sucks ass, we do have good pizza. None of the chain stores even come close to a good Italian owned NY pizzeria.

Ehh, some of us eat chain pizza due to convenience/price.

My favorite pizza is from a place that is too busy so they dont do carry out often as their coal ovens cant keep up with the demand. They do not deliver, and its like 2 times as expensive per ounce of pizza vs chicago style deep dish, or 3 times as expensive per ounce of pizza vs chain stuff ...

But holy hell is it frickin delicious...

As much as I may have trash talked NY and their pizza in my life, I would like to feast upon some NYC pie some day ...

Eh I've been to Naples many times and there are some New York and LA pizzerias that match Naples. Just not at the price though. I could buy an entire large pizza at 4 euros which I would probably have to pay 15-20 dollars here.

I've had Blaze before and it's decent considering it's market. I like thin crust pizza in general so it's thickness doesn't bother me. Personalized thin crust pizza seems to be the next frontier in fast casual dining.

I'd really rather have a good neapolitan sytle pizza though. mmmm

Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry pizza, yum!

(never had proper neapolitan style pizza, closest Ive had is coal fired pizza, but I will admit it sounds friggin awesome)

Coal fired is pretty good also. In Chicago I like Spacca Napoli and Nella for neapolitian style.
