Papa John's St. Patrick's Day Pizza Deal

Pardon my ignorance, but how is this a deal?

Papa Johns makes decent pizzas by chain standards, but I like Costco pizza better. I can get a large supreme pizza every day for $9.99 at Costco.

Trying not to threadcrap, but I don't see the value here.

Well, for me the $50 cost to join Costco in order to get a $9.99 large pizza would be a dealbreaker.

And you can buy a frozen Digorno for $6, what is your point? The value is determined by the difference between the regular price and the coupon price.

Thanks OP

And the fact that this is an XL pizza, not just a large.

On PapaJohns.com you can order an XL pizza for $9.99... Sounds like a bit of a mark up, not a deal.

Not where I live.

Base prices with no toppings:

Sm: 7.99
Med: 9.99
Lrg: 11.99
X-Lrg: 13.99

It's $15.88 for a single topping X-Lrg here.

Not that I'd ever pay their "menu" price...

But, if you like Papa John's, the OP's deal isn't bad.

The carryout deals are usually the best for Papa John's at least where I live. Here in Western NC they have (1) Large $7.99 carryout w/ one topping, or (2) Lrg $13.99 carryout w/ one topping.

Guys, I saw a television ad here in Michigan that said something about Papa Johns selling pizzas for $3.99, but I missed the details. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Wow, that sucks. The price of the XL for you is the same for 2 Mediums here.
