Am trying it for the first time, got a 16 inch with the works, a 14 inch pepperoni,a 10 inch cheese, cheese sticks, and garden veggie with chicken.

Yummy ! the dipping sauce rocks too 😛

the crust is nice,particularly on the cheese sticks which are
better than Domino's 🙂

I ruined sooo many pairs of pants and shirts with that dipping sauce many a late night in college. Ohhh memories.

My son is a pizza purist, he likes plain cheese or pepperoni
a coupler smaslle piers of these does him good.

Red and I like stuff with a lot of veggies and such.

I just threw up a little 🙁

Papa John's is without a doubt the worst pizza I've ever eaten, and the dipping sauce is pretty gross too... it's like melted butter + garlic *shudder*
 
When PJ was starting out years ago their pizza was kickass, some of the best you could get. Now that they are a big corporation they follow the corp. bottom line of giving the consumer less for more. Dominos is the same.
 
Aren't you in the Boston area? I had Papa Gino's a couple times while up there, admittedly a long time ago, but I remember it being better than Domino's/Papa John's etc.
 
If you live in a town with mom and pop pizza places, and don't need pizza at weird hours of the night, I don't see why anyone would try Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc.

Maybe it's just because I'm used to pizza in NYC and the Island (definitely not NYC pizza, but theres some good shops in my hometown).
 
I've had Papa John's once before, and it tasted like elementary school cafeteria pizza. Pizza Hut with extra pepperoni is the best.
