damn, i really cannot wait for this game any longer

I was at BB yesterday picking up my TV, and I saw someone playing Panzer Dragoon on their X-Box demo machine!! I was like, WTF?!? THey're mocking me! Turns out to be a demo... 🙂

Bump for commercial vid!

Looks cool, but the short story line the guy was saying is a bit weak (which has absolutely nothing to do with the game, i know).

A playable PDO demo was on OXM Disc #13 (December 2002)...yet another reason to subscribe folks! 😉

The game is without a doubt the single most BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN!

I'm not even a big fan of rail shooters.
But PDO would be the one to "turn my head" (so to speak) if one ever did.

BTW: I'm just shocked and amazed that MS isn't doing ANYTHING to try to sell PDO in Japan. I mean, I know their console sales there are abysmal, but HOLY COW if there is one title that could sell systems there, it's PDO!

yeah, and the demo is NOTHING comapred to the actual game. At least thats what people are saying. 🙂

The game was designed with replayability in mind, plus there's many things to unlock. I heard Panzer Dragoon games always had good stories to them, hopefully this is the same. Presentation looks top notch...these guys care about the game they're making, and that IMO makes a good game.

Can't wait!

They are to a certain extent by offering a white pdo xbox bundle

I can't figure out why anyone cares about DOA Volleyball.

haha theres even a calander out for that game already.
OMG, how sad. People, if you want a calender with sexy girls on it... Then buy a calendar with pictures of REAL WOMEN on it.

It scares me to think of how many guys will be getting their jollies off on this game, simply because of CG characters.

Man, it's just good volleyball action! It's not about the women!!😀

On a side note, the ESRB gave DOA Volleyball an 'M'. Just thought you guys might wanna know that.

hm... they don't usually give M's for sports games.. 😉

The 'M' rating must be for all the violence in the game. 😉

Don't forget Rebel Assault 1 & 2. These were my first experiences with rail shooters.

Done well, a rail shooter doesn't seem "closed-ended."
Done not so well, a rail shooter can be the svckiest thing you wouldn't even wish upon one of your worst enemies!

BTW: PDO got a 9.0 and Editor's Choice award from Gamespot, of all places.
BTW2: 9.2 from IGN and an 86 from Gamespy (WTH?)

surprised to see a 9.0 from gamespot. it must be DAMN GOOD for them to give an xbox game that kind of score.

I just got it....Man this game is fun. Its got a perfect feel of oldschool goodness......I played for 2 Hrs on easy and got to mission 7 and there are 10 missions. But I can see myself playing this game for along time. There is alot of stuff to unlock and it all looks cool. I like how you get graded after every episode....Ive got a C and most and D on 2 (A-D). Back to the days of high scores🙂

love it!

I'm constantly amazed at Gamespot's scores for Xbox games, as in...8.6 for Splinter Cell? 😕

Especially since Gamespot was such a champion of the Dreamcast (and rightfully so).
I guess they somehow got the cockamamie idea that Xbox was responsible for killing the DC, instead of the PS2.
