How come the sun is to the cameraman's left, but the cameraman's (or something) shadow is pointing toward the sun?

(Its the shadow by the astronaughts feet...

I might be a druggy though or missing something stupid...

Sec... even the astronaught's shadow is backwards...the hell?

But wouldn't he have no shadows then? Like, in this picture, the lander's lights are supposedly making his shadow from the sun disapear, but then wouldn't the sun make the shadow from the lander lights disapear too?

Pshaw! I'm not a child.

I think the discrepancies arise from the lens type. It was a panoramic lens and as such would create a distortion in perspective. Look slowly and you'll follow. 😀
