Where did you get your panini maker, Pliablemoose? The Fred Meyer's Deli has great deals on panini sandwiches, but it would be nice to make them at home too.

Added to my Wish List. Does Amazon have some sort of sale every Friday? If so, where do I find out what is on sale?

Yep, every week.

Honestly though, you might want to look for another grill, mine has bad reviews & with the reliability issues mine has had, I'd recommend another one. Had good luck with DeLongi brand stuff in other appliances.

The GF grills work great for panini, ours is always a bit nasty though, use it for meats mostly & they're a bit difficult to clean.

GF cleaning tip:
when done, while the grill is still hot, soak a paper towel or 2 in water, place in grill, close grill, eat your sandwich, Once the grill reaches a warm temp, you can wipe it out with the damp paper towels.
Its kind of like steam cleaning the grill. I used to hate cleaning the darn thing until I learned this trick.
