Panera Bread = Metro-Sexual Magnet?

Panera Bread has some great lunch menus. I went there with a co-worker for the first time and felt very uncomfortable (luckily my coworker is female).

I noticed that most of the people in Panera Bread are either females or feminine looking males.

Has anyone noticed this at all? Is it just in my head? Am I a homophobe? Am I moronic?

I would never go to Panera Bread with another male, but it's ok to go with a female..

I talked to several people at my work and they all agreed.

Please understand.. I am not here to bash Homosexuals or Metrosexuals. I have nothing against sexual preferences of others. I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way.

Mostly business people and MILFs in the one near me. They donate a trunk-full of bread to the company I work for every week, so I like to volunteer to go pick it up so I can get paid for my time to go get lunch.

Jesus Christ, what is the matter with you toolboxes (not you N8, I remember another thread similar to this)? It's a fvcking chain restaurant.

I've never had any of their menu outside of the bagels since there's not one where I live. We went to visit some friends a couple years ago in my old town and they'd built a Panera there since we moved and they probably the best cinnamon raisin brown sugar bagels I've ever had. Very good stuff.

Does it matter? Enjoy the food.

You are right.. Iroast..

Their food was great. It doesn't matter if there are lot of feminine people there.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on this thats all..

I've never been. Someone brings their bagels into work on a semi-regular basis though. The cinnamon ones are tasty.

I have yet to find a sandwich that tastes good. To me it's as if they tried so hard to get so many flavors into each one and it doesn't work at all.

Have you completely forgotten where you are? 😉

ROFL..

If you have time to read and post on Anand Forum, you have time.. If your average post is more than 12 times a day, you have no life..

I think you answered your own question. I like Panera Bread. I even have friends that work there. They manage now. I would eat there with friends. It is just another sandwhich shop from Cali. No big deal.

I am not metro-sexual. I am a tshirt and jeans type of person, or I wear basketball short. Some of my friends are metrosexual, but I could care less. The food is good, why wouldn't you eat with a friend who is a guy?

i didnt care for teh sandwiches myself. but didnt notice anything odd about the people eating there. it was full of college kids.

bagels are great and i like em

sandwiches are too busy and too fatty for me. they have so much stuff in them that it's too rich for a lunch sandwich and hits me with food coma.

I agree that it's a rather ridiculous observation but I'll admit to people watching on the rare occasions that I go out to lunch (Panera or anywhere else).
