I've asian and have always found it too much like americanized Chinese food, and am not a big fan of it..however my white friends live by the stuff.

How do you feel about it?

I'm Filipino I used to dislike the place but its grown on me immensly. Orange chicken and the garlic eggplant hmm yummy. Americanized Chinese food like here and PF Changs is alright.

It's not really microwaved. Everything is either fried, stir fried, or sauteed over there. Plus, their kitchen looks better/cleaner than those of many "authentic" chinese restuarants.

I apologize if I have done anything to offend you. I use AOL, post only in OT/HD, and rarely read people's profiles. I don't really see how a 6 PPD post count is excessive since I only visit this site during my leisure time.

Ah, so I assume you live in socal? The chinatown here has gone downhill. Too many Vietnamese moving in. Everyone is moving out to the San Gabriel valley and diamond bar enclaves for their chinese food.

Mall Chinese food is to Chinese food what McDonalds is to a good hamburger joint

I prefer Neo China and a few other local places.

Homemade Chinese food is still the best though

I actually live in manteca, central cal, but my mother lives in pacifica which is just south of San Francisco. My grandmother lives in so cal and everytime we go down there we usually end up going to chinatown and eat there ans shop and whatnot. I haven't been to chinatown in socal in about a year now. I sure hope it isn't going too much downhill.
