PANDA ANTIVIRUS PLATINUM FIREWALL HELP

I've tried everything. From reading the manual, to reinstalling, updating, uninstalling, etc. So here we go.

I am using Panda Antivirus Platinum, and whenever I enable the firewall, I lose functionality of all my internet-using programs. Seems like a noob problem, I know. However, all these programs appear in the 'common programs' as stated by the software, and I even added the programs myself, using the 'ALWAYS ALLOW' option to connect. Still no luck. I am not using a router, the windows xp firewall is disabled, and I am really frustrated.

I have the exact same issue!! AND I am using a router too. I have two computer set up with the router. And the firewall works on ONE computer and not the other. Why is that? I would really like to know...
