This might be helpful for the people that got the L-50 on the costco two rebate deal.
Compusa has had these batteries at $199 for months. I have been waiting for them to drop the price
and when I looked yesterday they had them for 199 minus 150 instant internet rebate $49.99
Shipping was high at $15.70 but I have wanted a another battery for long flights.

Fire17-Is this only online or can they be picked up at the B&M ?

EDIT: I called and it's $199 at the B&M, don't know if you can talk them into matching or not. I went ahead and ordered it online. Nice price, thanks Fire17.

I bought the same player.. my battery is labeled DY-DB50EX
not just DY-DB50 ...

is it the same battery?

**Just checked the Panasonic Parts website... looks to be the same battery. Awesome deal!

Nice find. I posted one of the deal from Costco a while back. Been looking for another
battery for those long trips.

I went to Compusa today and found this item in the "clearance" area. Same price $49.99. Brand new in box.

I plan on canceling my online order first thing on Monday to save on the absurd shipping charges!

If anyone is near the Springfield, NJ location.. there is one battery left.

My CompUSA had it in-store, but the price was $199.99. What a rip-off. I don't understand how they can
justify such a big diffence between the online price and the b&m price. I'm gonna have to order it online and
eat the shipping cost. Total out the door with shipping and tax for me will be $70/battery. I guess this is still
better than the prices that I've been able to find on the internet. Anyway, still a nice find.

Did you have them scan the item? My store had the item at that price with no adjustment necessary.

They had a hard time finding the battery. When the manager finally found it, he claims he scanned it and it priced at $199.99.
I didn't see it with my own eyes, but I have no reason to doubt him.

TTAKMAN which CompUSA store did you get it at?

Can someone scan their receipt please?
