panasonic gamecube?

Hey guys thanks for the input on the imported Japanese computers. Decided to go with the IBM Thinkpad S30. cannot wait for it to come soon.

One more question... anyone know a place on the internet to get the new Panasonic Gamecube (GameQ?) from Japan?

I found it for $450 at a few places, but would really like to get it for a little less. I might have to wait until I go to Japan though.

No there really is a Panasonic GameCube. Its only in Japan I believe, where is is called Q. Do a search for Panasonic GameCube and a lot of links will come up with info. I think its basically a GameCube that can play DVD's too. No clue where to get one. Here is a shot of the Nintendo GameCube and the Panasonic one side by side.

Forget about it, that's just a little above the suggested market price. The extra is what you're paying for the import fees. The only thing different is the DVD player, and for the price difference, you can put that $250 towards a MUCH nicer DVD player, plus a few DVD's to boot.
