Panasonic 900MHz Digital Cordless Phone $19.50, yes it is Staples B&M

🙂

I bought a Panasonic 900 MHz Digital Cordless Phone from Local Staples.
Model : KX-TC1703B. It is clearenced for $19.50

Feature includes Speaker Phone on Handset. CallerID/Call Wait. BackLit 3 line LCD.

No SKU printed on receipt, and not on staples.com.

For Curious people, Look here on Amazon

A good value for the Money.

I saw one of those at my staples. It was a display model with a missing battery cover.

Does anybody know how to get a battery cover for these things? I'm looking for a 900MHz digital, because my 2.4GHz keeps interfering with my wireless network.

I love panasonic phones the only thing i hate about thme is when they get low on battery and start beeping.

I swear it wastes more battery beeping than it does when it's in use.

I wish they would fix that and just have a lil led go off maybe every 10 seconds or so

I have this phone and like it (esp its call quality--although it sometimes takes an abnormally long time btwn pushing the talk button and answering a call). FWIW, it was the highest rated 900 MHz digital phone in Consumer Reports' analysis in the fall. . . .

Have the same model without the Caller ID. Just Don't like the part that it takes a bit longer to answering the call when picking up the phone. i have to say HELLO twice before the other person on the line hears me. Everything else is great.

Great phone from personal experience.

Ditto here. I've got a similar Panasonic 900 Mhz w/answering machine and I love it.

Double ditto here.

I have a 900MHz Panasonic cordless phone (dual keypads, caller ID) and I LOVE IT.

Cyrstal clear call quality, great range from the base (which is in a basement), battery lasts for hours and it's very durable.

Got this phone right now and it's a pretty good phone. I do have some grips with it though, like the ringing volume being too low even at it's highest setting and the occational 'clicking' sound that's barely noticable but it's there.

I also like these phones a lot.

BTW you can get a free headset if you bought you phone between 12/29/02 and 3/29/03. Click Here

I hope someone can take advantage of this offer because I missed the dead line by a couple weeks.

Good deal! I have 2 of these phones from OM's Black Friday sale... They work great and don't interfere with my wireless network either 😀

I'm a fan of panasonic cordless phones, but have found this particular model to be my least favorite of the bunch. It has a good featureset (handset speakerphone, headset jack, digital 900Mhz, etc.)
But after using 2 new phones of this particular model, I found it to have poor headset sound quality (excessive static regardless of the headset used), average handset sound quality, and no speed dial. Sound quality wasn't awful, but it was the worst out of all my cordless phones, and I have a pretty cheap VTech one in the mix.

It does have a phone directory, but does not tie in speed dial functionality into the directory. Wanting to make any pre-programmed call will consist of scrolling through the directory. And there were some other quirks that made me return it (this was a while back when it was $29.99 AR).

Problems others have reported are: frequenty clicking noise during conversation, poor range, poor battery life.

I found the range to be average...better than a VTech Digital 900Mhz but worse than a Uniden Digital 900Mhz. Battery life didn't seem bad, but I only had the phones for a week or two.

they are 900MHz phones, they can't interfere with your wireless network, which is 2.4Ghz

ahhhh, i can't believe the 5 staples in my area did not have any in stock. Anyone wants to pick 5 up in Seattle and send it to me? I will pay for shipping and your time 🙂
