I ordered a pair of the 325s last week. If I had known the $15 coupon worked for only $50, I could have placed 2 seperate orders and saved an extra $15 :frown: These are excellent radios, btw. I have a friend that paid $90 for each of his.

My question: anyone know of a good headset for these? The ones that fit over one ear like what plantronics makes for pcs and cell phones? I don't like the clip on mike with earbud, you have to hold the mike to your mouth, which defeats the purpose. If it wasn't cost prohibitive I would buy a plantronics headset and attach the proper size jacks, which I am pretty sure would work.

Buy two, add a book to boost it over $50, use the code, and it should be about $15 for them both after two $10 rebates (limit 10 per household so there's no problem there). They are an ugly purple, but there ya go.

Thanks for the reply sygyzy, but I was referring to something a little more like the plantronics mobile phone headsets, like this:

The large headset offered by panasonic would not fit under bike helmets, nor be comfortable while hiking. The small over-the-ear headsets, however, are so light and comfortable, and allow hands-free usage. The fact that they can be used on the motorola frs radios is almost incentive enough to drop $100+ I have a feeling many of the frs units have rebates because the industry has adopted the 2.5mm plug standard. Units like the panasonic have seperate jacks for mike and speaker, which makes no sense since both signals can be carried on one wire.
