Panaflo L1A in a PP303XP PS?

How difficult would it be to replace the fan in my power supply (the one that came with my SX1030) with a Panaflo 80mm? Is it possible, and would it be worth the trouble? This is new territory for me b/c I have never messed with my PS before.

I have replaced a power supply fan before. You just take off the ps casing and it should be mounted there. Just splice the wires together with the new fan.

I would leave it as it is. The fan in the 300W Antec is not too loud and messing around PSU can kill you, even if the PSU is unplugged for hours, it still contains fatal voltages.

Darwin's theory at it's best.. if your dumb enough to lick your fingers and touch negative and positive at the same time 😛

Edit: On a serious note though respect the capacitors.. they hold a lot of charge for weeks.. leaving the PSU out and unplugged for a full day should be enough tho..

I've got an L1A in a Antec 300W. Definitely more quiet, and not that hard, just don't be stupid.

IM gonna be doing this to my antec 400w someone said if you unplugged the PSU and started it with the switch on or off I cant remember that it disipates all the energy

Does anyone know what is the required air flow speed for a PSU fan. I am also about to replace mine (to a quiet one) but do not know which one to get and what airflow it should be. ???
