Hepatitis B/C can be defined as an STD, since one very common form of transmission is sexually obviously. I wonder if she got it thru IV drugs though. Also, Hep C, while being very communicable, is less communicable than some other STDs. But yes, it's a very unfortunate form of hepatitis to have. High incidence of cirrhosis, etc.

It is not as easy as you make it sound. It is a bloodborne pathogen and can be found in saliva. It is not as communicable as many other STDs. Hep C is not considered an STD, but can be aquired through sex.
