Setting aside the fact that this person posted this item in the wrong forum, don't you guys think you're a little rough on this seller??? $339 is quite a good price for this model (VIIX) of Palm device. A majority of the *top* vendors have this device listed @ $399 + shipping.

And at least you know where a company stands in terms of returns, policies, etc. I like selling and buying here, but it does have its limits. I would stick with reputable businesses (not saying this seller isn't mind you) for high ticket items. At the very least, purchase these things with a credit card so you have buyer protection and chargeback priviledges if necessary.

you guys are being a bunch of pricks. This is a pretty good price on this palm, and no, it does not suck. It rocks, specially if you do a lot of traveling.

CNET lists $339.99 as the lowest available price. I agree with the other posts... this may be a good price, but I would go with a respected company when putting this kind of money out. At least on e-Bay you have more protection than buying here.

Oh, yeah... why hasn't this been locked yet???

It's compelling.... But the point is that I would rather buy it from someone I could have a recourse with..... It would have to be a minimum of 50-100.00 cheaper than the cheapest I could find. Maybe you could post on phatwallet.com... might sell out in 10 mins. If you lower the price let us know......

Anyways everyone knows that they are going to be introducing a new Palm VIIX soon. More in the form factor of the M100 body-type... So these will be selling a lot cheaper real soon. Tell that company they better unload these in three weeks or less if they don't want to take more of a beating...
