Palm VII for $99.88 at OD B&M

OD has Palm VII tagged at 99.88 in my local S. Fla. OD.
It only has 2mb & is internet ready.
Seems like a pretty hot deal, but, is this really worth it, or is it better to spend a bit more and get the Palm IIIxe or another?

as for display, it had a few of those sheets to take to the front desk & it was an inoperative display, so the store could have not even had any, but if that store had it labeled with .88, others should.
 
does the palm VII look exactly like the VIIX???what is the upc kode, the kode that was printed on your receipt???
 
I just now got off the phone with my Portland, Oregon OD and the Palm VII is still selling for $399.99 and the SKU is 561211.
 
That must be the SKU # for the Palm VIIx which I know is $399

According to the OD 'Big Book' Volume II catalog the SKU# of the Palm VII is 983459
 
D'oh! Thanks for the correction Brudha, I just called the same OD back and a different guy answered the phone and said according to his inventory system that you are correct!

I guess the previous guy I spoke with assumed that I was looking for the Palm VIIx since they had no Palm VII's in stock.

The Palm VII is sold out completely nationwide. However there might some return or open box items left in the local stores. Good luck hunting!
 
May have to check this one out. I wonder if Staples carries it and if so can anyone say PM and coupon? 😉 Or better yet, go to Good Guys and get 200% of the difference. I'd ove it if they had theirs for $200+ and then I get an extra $200 to spend oon something else. 🙂 CC has 110% of the difference too, so there might be a better deal. Hopefully OD doesn't sell out right away so I can try some of these deals out.

well, nobody will buy this thing for $349 either. The reasonable price would be somewhere around $180-$200. Still $99 is a quite good deal (if it's a floor model, make sure everything is working within 14 days, this thing is just so easy to be messed up/broken).
 
Ridiculous? Did I spell it wrong? I meant that it's silly the price is so low. It's a good thing. Or are you just trying to cause trouble?
