Palm users...have a question on restoring contrast.

Hi all,
At some point today I seem to remember that the contast settings popped up on my Palm Vx screen and I was busy at the time and didn't think why it was there. Now the screen is not readable at all...only a brief flash when I turn it on.
How can I get it back?
Tia for any help.

Got it...there is a button on the top but I couldn't see what it was doing because I couldn't read the screen🙂
